This is a completely restored 1973 El Camino Super Sport. It is a factory equipped SS with a 454/4 spd. I spent over seven years and $30,000 on a frame off restoration. All rusted panels were replaced and the entire body/frame bead blasted before applying an epoxy primer. The car was professionally painted and the interior was completely redone with swivel buckets upholstered in a red and black weave. The dash was completely rebuilt by Just Dashes. It has a close ratio Muncie transmission with a Hurst shifter. The engine was professionally rebuilt, bored out .0030, and is equipped with a mild cam, Holley 4 bbl, and Hooker headers. The car has been finished for three years and has 3400 miles on it. A/C was rebuilt and converted. Works great. The only item missing is a sound system. The original AM radio is installed but it does not work. Other than this, there isn’t a part of this car that hasn’t been rebuilt, replaced, or refinished. It’s strong and runs beautifully. I kept all the original parts that were replaced with aftermarket ones (e.g., turbine wheels, QJ carb. air cleaner I kept extensive records during the restoration including receipts and progress photos. The car is located in southeastern Arizona and is ready for travel.
