This 1971 Chevy Camaro RS Z/28 was built at the Van Nuys, CA GM plant and was mildly modified to match the owner's actual Chip Foose signed design. This is an original Cortez silver car that had a high-quality repaint two years ago. The door handles have been shaved and replaced with electric latches. 18 inch color-matched Foose Design wheels hide SSBC Force 10 disc brakes at all four corners. The interior is all new and is done in leather. Power comes from a late LT1 small block that now makes 450hp. The Mike's Transmissions Turbo 350 was rebuilt to handle the extra power and the rear end is a 3.55:1 Posi. Total mileage on the drivetrain is less than 18,000. The car has a full custom dash with all Autometer gauges. The stereo system includes a Pioneer head unit with CD and Ipod jack, 2 10" subs plus mid-range speakers and separate tweeters. This car has spent it's whole life in California, so rust is nonexistant. To our knowledge and upon inspection, it does not appear that this car has ever had any significant damage. This Camaro was a six month labor of love and it shows. It is truly beautiful.
